Like the proverbial frog in a pot of boiling water, American citizens are well on their way to being cooked. I want to initially talk about the latest break in faith and then talk about my hypothesis on where this is headed. I will outline other instances of broken ties, in my opinion, in another post if you need more examples to take my hypothesis seriously. The latest break in ties: “No man left behind.” This is not an American social compact. This is not just a military compact. “No man left behind” is a foundational or bedrock social compact subscribed to by almost all civilized societies. You can go on your trusty video provider and watch a montage of Biden saying repeatedly over his 50+ years of political career the phrase “No man left behind”. However, after finally being in a position of actual leadership, his actions fail to measure up to his decades worth of words. Biden and his administration, voluntarily surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban while leaving American citizens and allies behind in enemy hands.
This is just one of many instances where bedrock social contracts and checks/balances that America was built on has been weakened or broken. To what end? Progressives and Socialists are still the noisy minority fighting the silent majority. For many of this minority (and increasingly the majority), politics has turned into a blood sport where the end completely justifies the means. They are increasingly unsatisfied with the rate of change from the American system based on individual freedom and capitalism to socialism. Like a snowball rolling down a hill, the slide towards socialism is moving at an ever increasing, but primarily linear, rate demanding ever more significant action. This was and is being accomplished through two of the most insidious and damaging political constructs in our history. Namely, the belief and acceptance that we need compromise in all things political and balance in all things judicial. So my theory is that socialists are unsatisfied with linear change, no matter what the rate of change. So what is the alternative? They are looking, in my opinion, for step changes, or instantaneous major political changes. Most good people don’t like to assign motives to other people’s actions. We don’t know what are in peoples hearts and minds, right? It is even harder to divine motive when people espouse altruistic beliefs on the political bully pulpit that are faithfully echoed by a politically charged media. Even when their actions result in the exact opposite result of what they espouse they intend. So back to step change. In my opinion, socialists are looking to create such an egregious environment that Americans start to beg the federal government to provide relief. My theory: The environment necessary to accomplish their goal is going to include chaos, anarchy and extreme social division. So wake up. Don’t be the frog in the pot that just sits there as the temperature is slowly turned up. Some people may believe that is a totally crazy theory. Next I will be talking about the existence of UFOs, right? The only thing I know for certain is that time will tell.
